The NEWTOWNERS are based in East Reading and have a large following who enjoy the bands modern covers mixed with foot stomping fiddle tunes and classics – all played with wild abandon using fiddle, banjo, guitar, ukulele, double bass and a whole lotta fun!.

Last year saw the band working on a project performing the songs from the hit movie “O Brother where art thou?” as part of a live theatre version of the film so we can expect to hear some of those songs in their set list alongside beautiful haunting ballads, ‘diddly diddly’ fiddle ditties and country renditions of Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead and U2 songs! That should have whetted your appetite.
